In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)
In-vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a treatment which aims to provide you with a happy and successful outcome. It can, in addition, have the added benefit of being diagnostic i.e. establishing the cause of your sub fertility. I see about 30% of couples that I cannot conclude what reason they have to be seeing me. IVF can be not only successful in achieving your goals (please see success rates) but can give us all answers as to why? However it is physically, emotionally demanding and if you are not eligible for NHS IVF, expensive too. My aim would be ensure that the treatments currently available would be the most appropriate for you.
Initial Consultation
My aim when treating patients undergoing fertility assessment is to be open, honest and fair. I would hope to provide you with a clear and defined fertility pathway with the primary aim of successfully achieving a pregnancy. With my knowledge and experience within the field of reproductive medicine it gives me the ability to not only provide you with up to date research based practice but also management of thousands of patients in a similar situation to yourselves that I have treated over the years.
